The Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer Lego set 6211 is a collectors item. This set has 1366 pieces. That is a huge Lego set, and will require some effort to build this awesome toy. The toy does have small pieces, and children under 3, should not play with it.

The set says it is appropriate for children ages 9 to 14, but it is a difficult construction process and would need the help of an adult.

The set comes with several figures to help accurately portray different scenes in the movie. Mini figures include, Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Imperial Officer, two stormtroopers, two Emperor's Royal guards, R2-D5, and a mouse droid.

When completely built the Imperial Star Destroyer measures 23 inches long. The Destroyer has working parts, adding to the total package. It includes turbo laser cannons, a releasing escape shuttle, and a hologram of the Emperor. The top lifts off, to reveal the inner workings of the ship, including the control bridge where Darth Vadar sits.

This set is discontinued and hard to find, making it even more valuable. A new set today starts around $200. The built product does tend to fall apart when played with, but would be a perfect piece to add to your Star Wars display.
