Some Lego enthusiasts happen to love the Racers series. This set, Lego Monster Truck Jumpers is a very cool racer. It is set number 8165.
The Monster Truck Jumpers became available in December of 2008. This set comes with 91 pieces. The Monster Truck Jumper form Lego some really cool features. It happens to have a pull back motor that can send the truck barreling across the floor up to 15 feet. The truck wheels feature real rubber tires which add to the quality and playability.
On the negative side, the ramp seems kind of cheaply made and may not hold up to rough play. It is of cardboard construction.
The Monster Truck Jumper is recommended for ages 7-12 years. A non collector over the age of 12 may tend to get bored with this set. The pull back motor makes this truck lots of fun for younger kids. It is a pretty easy to build set and rates very high on the playability factor. Be careful smashing it into walls though, because you may have to rebuild the whole Monster Truck.
This set is ideal for the Lego enthusiast that happens to collect the Lego Racers and Power Racers series. Other than that it may not be that collectible of a set, but not for lack of fun.
