This city is only made more dismal by the center piece of mental illness, Arkham Asylum. Experience the full fright and insanity of this chaotic madhouse with the Lego Batman Arkham Asylum.

Lego Batman Arkham Asylum, manufactured in 2006, is an 860 piece Lego set with seven figurines including the Dark Knight, Batman himself, and his matured boy-wonder sidekick, Nightwing.

Unfortunately, for the two Lego Arkham Guards, Batman will have to attempt to round up such iconic villains as; The Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and the master of riddles The Riddler, all of whom are included.

Sadly with this set you’ll miss out on super-villains and arch nemeses the Joker and Two-Face.

This product has been intended for children ages 8 to 12. Children younger, deemed capable, could use this set, but not much younger being the small size of the pieces. Also, some themes of the set, the asylum itself and the ambulance suggest strong mental disorders, may not be suitable for younger children. Children within the age designated will find hours of action packed detective fun.

This set’s notorious Batman villains and vehicles, an ambulance, the Bat-glider, and Nightwing’s motorcycle, leave a lot to be desired. To believe that these super-powered villains escape via tied prison sheets, included, is far fetched. Many fans would like to see the Joker behind bars and find it hard to collect without having collected other Batman Lego sets. Also, Nightwing, Robin’s older self, is a less desired character than the original sidekick.

This set is excellent for those looking for days, or even weeks, of Batman fun but, those with lifetime collections will want to skip this one.
